"Viaje" solo art show and cultural experience was a dynamic program that presented work traversing visual cultures, from graffiti and oil on canvas to interactive AI visual generation. The street-based enigma is known for his captivating graffiti art, Indigenous illustration art, and large-scale murals. PEMEXS, with over 15 years of experience, has left his mark all over the world, from floating vans to billboards, abandoned trains to warehouses. He has transcended with a new body of work, showcasing a series of provocative oil paintings that delves into themes of immigration, spiritual practices, mysticism, and pop-culture surrealism with his skilled brush on canvas. Attendees were immersed in real-time generative visuals that combined traditional art, music, and technology to create mesmerizing visual displays generated from conversations and thoughts from the attendees. The event was a night to remember, featuring music, a traditional Deer Dance ceremony, and a vibrant atmosphere that celebrated the spirit of Latino Heritage Month. |
